Question on behalf of a mate who drives the above vehicle.

 

Question 1  Should he drive in 4WD H 4 when towing as per Mitsubishi owners  manual

Question 2  Should he drive in 4th or in Drive auto

Thanks mate that site seems to answer his problem. Must see if my Pathfinder has a similar requirement I always tow in full auto and let the vehicle do the thinking for me I d sometimes use the triptronic and shift down one cog when I feel it should and it hasn't. Many Thanks for your reply

Glad it was of help to your mate Wombat, there is also an excellent Pathfinder club that deal with all sorts of things. The reason I'm aware of such clubs/forums is that before buying my Territory I researched quite a few vehicles....not sure if it helped because after you buy the car you discover 'quirks'. :shrug.gif
