Easy way to upload pics

Or, you could get nice big pictures like this, and they use no forum resources at all...

Photobucket is a great resource for sharing your pics with family/friends etc. and you only use your bandwidth once to upload it.

Cheers,

If I could just add to that, make sure the pic you are posting has been downsized with one of your programs prior to this action.

Also you when uploading attached files, you can choose to upload only the thumbnail (if that is the right word) or the full sized (downsized) picture in the post area, see the commands that appear after you have clicked on attach files etc below your post.....

Wombat, you may want to make that a bit clearer if you wish.....

Dougwe, how did I know you would pick up on that esc key biggrin

Duh, thanks mate you have made it clear, resize is a must or a pic will overstretch a page.

El Gringo, the problem with photobucket is that people do not use the resize function in PB and overstretch the page, I also use PB sometimes.

Helena, I think you have done it before.

If you click the insert on the right hand side of the 4th of Wombat's pictures, you get a nice big picture without the need to click the thumbnail.

Nice clear instructions for some but I didnt know there was any other way to do it.....biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

the only other suggestion if you want to insert the picture in the text box rather than an as an attachment then you need to make sure the cursor is below the text before you 'insert'
