If I were buying a sat decoder, or a complete system today I would go for a Sat-King box I reckon. They look the goods with later technology than the others.  They are 12v / 240v out of the box and have better sat finding capability too I hear.

All you need is the box, approx $275, cables & connectors maybe $50, sat dish with LNB around $100, (I would recommend a dish around 85cm with a quick release LNB arm rather than the fixed or folding type) tripod for $60 ish plus a good sat finder for around $100.

If you are in Perth then Access Antennas would look after you or if buying online try Satplus or Satgear.

Cheers Neil
