Has anyone travelled on this stretch of the Silver City Hwy recently? I was wondering if it is OK for a solo GN with dog - towing camper trailer and Mitsubishi Outlander? Also the stretch from Nocccundra to Windorah?
Welcome to the forum JICK. Its a looong time since we were on that road, and we had a 4WD and not towing, so not very helpful. Interesting country though.
You might get up-to date information from the visitor centre at Broken Hill or Tibooburra,or the police station at Nockundra if you give them a call..
Will depend on whether there has been any recent rain in those parts. The road north to the border at Warri Gate can get very slick very quickly - and even if it is not officially closed, you would slide all over the place. Try googling NSW road reports, or similar.
