disbeliefWireless reversing Cameras are very susceptible to interference. Better to go wired and have it installed by an auto sparkie. Many combos on ebay are quite good.

Not real hard job with the hard arranging the cross over the a frame to the vehicle. Having said that you would realize that I would not use radio link, as already said too much interference. It's only a matter of getting a suitable plug/ socket to do theconnection at the tow vechicle. Jay car will have a suitable one if you tell them what you want it for. Don't forget to get a blanking cap for vechicle socket to keep it clean when the van is not attached.

I'm having mine hard wired by an auto sparky. Better to have it done properly I reckon.

I bought a Safety Dave's hard wired set up with two cameras and a seven inch screen at the Sydney caravan show. The sales guy was actually their installing guy, so he gave me a step by step run through installing it as well as a web address to view a video on installing everything. I have not installed it yet but I intend to do so by our next trip in september.

I agree I have heard of heaps of wireless set ups having interference, thats why I bought the setup I did.

So long as you can read Chinese with a bit of English thrown in it's rather simple to hard wire, hardest part is getting the wire along the chassis of through the internal trim . I have a wireless unit purchased on ebay $25.00 and have not had an interference problem as yet. I have mine wired through the parking lights and have it on all the time I'm towing the van You can spend a few dollars or hundreds they all do the same job if having it fitted it may cost more than the unit .

I have a two camera unit main one on the back of the caravan so you can see the traffic approaching better and a second camera on back of the tug makes hooking up easy for one person, I am not trained in electronics and was able to run my hard wired system without too much trouble, and like the others I would not use a wireless system.
