My sister found some reallyold photos taken by my mother back when I was about 6 years old. My father was a British RoyalMarine, and used to cut our hair in the Basin Style. See if you can pick which one is me. central state school.jpgBill

I agree with Doug, my stepfather used to give me a basin cut (with the white ceramic basin actually on my head), hated those manual hair clippers, they pulled your hair if taken off to soon during the cuts.....furious

Right in one. I was at the Brisbane Central State School, right on Gregory terrace, in the Middle of Brisbane. That was taken 52 years ago!Thought it was lost for ever. Hope she find more old pics. Bill

I really enjoy looking at those old pics.
Thanks for sharing mate.
We had a lot of old pics but lost almost all of them in Cyclone Yasi.
Keep them coming everyone.

Cheers

Sol

I saw this on facebook so I know which one is you Bill. I'll have to dig out my grade 2 photo now. From Morningside State School, Brisbane.

And sadly, I too had a basin cut. disbelief
