New England Highway

Hi there, I'm travelling from Brisbane to Singleton at the end of the week - want to get down there as quickly as possible.  Does anyone know the current condition of the NE hway or am I better of taking the Newell?

Welcome to the forum Nothingsweet

If it was us, we'd take the NE as its less distance to Singleton, although we like both roads. However it will be COLD at this time of the year, you will need a heater.

We travelled from Uralla to Stanthorpe 2 weeks ago and the road was good.  Not much traffic either.

Just done Singleton to Bris twice .Good road ,no problems.   Agro.
