Funny things, mobile phones

Thanks to the kindness of a GN. I have an Aldi-powered mobile (no Aldi in WA, so he sent me the SIM card).

Works a treat. Local calls 12 cents a minute.

Call my wife in UK . . . 10 cents a minute!

As they say, go figure.

Cheers, Tony

You can get a better deal from Kogan currently.

For $30 per month unlimited calls and texts + 6gig data.

If you pay 90days at a time it is $79 and yearly it is $299 or $24 per month.

Kogan uses Telstra network (part of") and after a month I am happy with the coverage.

Cheers Neil
