Home Hill Showground.

Update on Home Hill Showground. At Council meeting today, HH showground has been given a reprieve, and will remain open - for who knows how long. They apparently want a 4day stay for travelers and a limit of 30 vans per night, unless prIor notice of a rally etc which may have more vans/motorhomes attendIng. I can't really work this out as there is a lot of room here.

The showground belongs to the State Government is leased to an AborIgInal CorporatIon who are in favor of having campers here. They would rather see it put to use than have no one using the area. Shops in both HH and Ayr are benefiting from money spent by mainly pensioners staying in the ground which amounts to several thousand dollars.

The caretakers should like travellers to tell their mates to call in and stay here. $10 per night, hot showers, clean toilets and water available.

cheers

Can I ask how long people were staying at the Home Hill show grounds for, before this limit was announced.
