Portland Roads QLD

Continuation from my post re Chilli Beach ,

Yep Bill12 an awesome place and why it is such a Paradise still is because it has not got the infrastructure to entice the masses here.

But in saying that you do see the knob heads attempting some of these tracks /roads with unsuitable gear.

In our travels we came across a bloke who had wrecked his brand new Evernew caravan just was not made for this kind of road conditions.

When we got talking to him he said ( and I quote ) ..But I thought it would handle it as it is brand new.( unquote ) now how dumb it dumb.

Another guy had so much stuff on top of his off road trailer it just was sagging under the weight.

Also was sitting at Musgrove and heard this all mighty bang and looked over towards the road and there had been a head on crash, with dust and rocks flying every where. Some people just do not drive to the road conditions up this way.A lot of the O/S travellers are also a danger to everyone including them self.... also seen a bloke's ute with major damage from hitting one of the many wild Brumby's that are almost in plague proportions.i did ask myself do we still have any park rangers working or is this a no no to cull these horses.
