I have an out of the ordinary request for help and if it contravenes Forum Rules, Moderator please delete.
Am looking to purchase a particular type of inflatable boat directly from Singapore. Why Singapore? , because there is a particular type call a Sampan that I am interested in and there are at least two suppliers in Singapore.
Have tried to email them several times without success and I am not sure if this is because of a language barrier although I wouldn't think it should be. My emails do not bounce back.
My Request is :
Does anyone have a Friend / Relative that actually lives in Singapore and would be willing to contact the Supplier locally and create a line of contact for me. All I am looking for is the be able to discuss with the Supplier some technical details and hopefully go ahead and purchase.
Can anyone help?, if so please PM me or email.
Cheers

I lived and worked in Singapore about 20 years ago. Everyone speaks English, so that's not the problem. Instead I suspect that they may be ignoring you because you are only after a single unit. I used to have the same problem, even when I used my company's letterhead. It seems nothing has changed.

I am a bit more understanding of why they have not replied.
Yep, Karios is one of them and Karios have many offshoots with a few email addresses, tried them but no response. On one of their pages they mentioned a display at the Singapore Yacht Club so I emailed them to see if they could put me in touch but alas no reply again.
Karios is as far as I can work out somewhere near the Singapore Yacht Club hence me hoping someone local would have better luck.
Austrade is a good suggestion and will try them, thanks.
If I fail to get a response to a sales enquiry, my interest in the product whatever it may, be ends at that point, just think if you finally are able to buy that product and you have a problem with it, you will be up the creek without a paddle.
If you are looking to buy an inflatable, stick with the brands that have been around for decades if you want a trouble free product.
