Have finished the Great Outback way & now on our lonesome for the first time since Alice Springs a month ago- have had such a wonderful time. We managed to get internet at a couple of the roadhouses across the way to catch up with family/friends. Water was not a problem as available when we got fuel.
Your life sounds interesting to say the least - some of it I'd welcome other parts I'd be happy to earn from your experience - glad we decided not to get the front window on our van from what you describe. Bundaberg sounds a real mess and it sounds like much of the area will take a while to recover propoerly. Thanks for sharing - hope things start to improve for you
Thank you Oma, just read your travel story from Alice and enjoyed every photo. Its less fun when you are cold though! Extra thank you's for the flower pics, I take lots of those too.
Travel on, be warmer, stay safe and stay in touch.
DandD- yes Bundy is a mess but I hope that was not the reason you decided not to get the bra on the van- Bundy needs as much money spent locally as possible- then again it may not have been what you wanted. Cheers
Thanks for comments Gerty- have survived the cold so far but a diesel heater is the first priority when we get home. The genny was started to use ours in the van as few times- on now to warm the ensuite!
@Oma, no it had nothing to do with Bundy, your post or your blog. We're getting a van built for us and we'd already decided not to get a front window. What you said just confirmed our decision is all.
