Yep - Herbie - more details in your reports would be good!!!!! i.e. are they in the Camps Australia Wide books? reference numbers if so - if not, how do we find them, what road are they on? - not far to some is 5k - to others 50k - - sorry to be a pain.

There is Free Camping at Richmond, Nth Qld. You need to be fully self sufficient as area is a graded large town block, and has a dump point along with water and a couple of rubbish bins is close into town and reasonably quiet. You need to check at the Info Centre and they will direct you there. Owned by Council. We stayed there last year in our School Bus /Motorhome behind which we tow a trailer with car.
