I hope someone out there can give us some advice. My husband & I have just got a new paramount van, we are starting to travel in a few months time, we are trying to find out if anyone knows whether or not you can get Foxtel or Austar in a caravan when you are travelling. We have been told we can get a satellite dish but that will only help us get free to air stations. Being new to all of this i are trying to get a few things right before we leave. Thanks, any help would be great.
You will find much information and advice from the experienced and informed mob on here ... but may I suggest you put this post either in the General Sub-forum or the Techie's Sub-forum. It will get a much wider audience. This sub-forum has been closed for a long time.
Cheers - John

Yes you can, you will need a LNB on your dish for foxtel contact these guys http://www.satplus.com.au/ and ask Philip in Victoria and he will be able to help you, you will need to take your own foxtel box but don't tell foxtel they frown on their box being used for travellers.
also contact Cindy and ask her to change your page to General as suggested by RL
