Have made it to Westmar today for my overnight stop.
First stop was Wooroolin Wetlands. A cold nights minus 1.3. But had my hottie with me. Plenty of parking there, just north of Kingaroy.
Last night at Kumbia where I was plugged Into power and had my little oil fin heater on all night. Warm as toast. John was like an excited puppy when he was ready to leave but my gosh he was cold when he gave me a hug this morning. I was still in bed and not going anywhere until it warmed up. This was 8 am. Myrtle is doing very well. The first 292 ks used 33litres. Great economy. She's driving very smoothly.
Pleased that you had another safe driving day, it was much warmer on the coast than inland. Everything going well for me too got as far as Chatsworth Park. Settng off soon to Gin Gin. CYA,
Quite warm here tonight at Dirranbandi by the river. Spent happy hours talking to a couple from Alexander, Vic. They started telling me about their trip to Greens Lake. Best place they had ever been. They couldn't believe it when I told them our experience there. They said no one else had heard of it till me today. They were there at Easter.
Had a great day at L. R. Worth a look see. Now parked at the free camp ten ks south opposite Stanley the giant emu. Happy hour was good With four couples around a roaring fire.
That's ok then Gerty. As long as there is some interest. Now at Gilgandra for the night. Looking forward to a long hot shower. Will definitely be back this way in August. A much more comfortable drive than doing th whole of NS W on the Newell like I have done in the past
