Lightning Ridge

Is July a good time to visit Lightning Ridge? would it be too cold then?

I'm heading in that direction on the 4th.

I'm thinking of popping out there on my way south next week Wondering the same myself
Would rather read first hand experience than any weather forecasts that may be wrong

I have relatives at the ridge and out there a lot. Summer is HOT, best time is winter . Opel van park, hot baths accross the road.   Agro.

Mornings can be coolish and the nights can get cold, but during the day it is beautiful weather. Summer would be a scorcher of a place to be though.Best time to visit is around now.If you are only staying over night or two a lot of people just pull into the Baths area and camp ,there is toilets and showers and BBQ.
