My hubby Neville is his greatest fan, has almost every song album he made, they even played Walk A Country Mile at his Mums funeral...........I like a lot of his music but in smaller doses.
I'm dreading the day I'm camped next to a country music fan who's hard of hearing.
I was parked next to a lover of military marching music in a caravan park once Gary, he had it one full blast, luckily his missus read him the riot act and made him turn it off, LOL !!
I am also a country music tragic, more tragic than most because my preference is Bush Ballads, Slims type of music. The name of our van is Mechanised Swaggies, taken from the Slim song. Unfortunately the Bush Ballad doesn't get the same airplay as the head banging country they make now days Some of the country today is more rock and roll than Chuck Berry. Just think about it if Elvis was starting out now he would be a country singer. Another tragic event of a few weeks ago was the death of probably one of the greatest country singers ever. George Jones. Hardly got a mention in Australia. I bet if someone from One Direction got a splinter in his finger it would of made headlines. Hope we never forget Slim
