Hi all I have been lurking around trying to keep up with most posts. But now it is so close I will be flying out Friday 14th morning and return on July 22nd. I hope to be keeping an eye on you all and report when I have internet access. I am going to New York first which includes an 8 day bus tour around Washington, Vancouver, Montreal, Boston. Then back to New York for 4 days with the on/off bus ticket for more sightseeing. Then we fly to Vegas for a week and on the 5th July we have hired 2 Winnebagos and will head towards San Francisco route at this stage unknown.....A couple of days in SF taking in trolley cars, Alcatraz and more sights. Then drive down the coast to Los Angeles with Jan and Dean, Dion, Beach Boys screaming from the mp3 player. 2 nights and more bus tours and then to Hawaii for a week of MORE bus and sightseeing incl. Pearl Harbor and lots of shopping here then home leaving 21st Jul.
Be good, drive careful, stay safe and a Happy Birthday to any I have missed and those coming up.....
Regards

And a big hello to you Wombat from a true friend that would not say such a thing about you And as for Dougwe's comment ?? please make allowances for his ''ramblings'' as you are aware he is up North at the moment, and it is well known that at some times of the year, they go ''Troppo'' I know it is not troppo season yet ??
but Dougwe is a little slow and the Troppo , is just catching up to him now
if you intend to go up the statue of liberty then get the first ferry early in the morning and when it docks run with everybody else if you go on a later ferry you may have to wait in a que for 2-3 hours.
In Vegas make sure you go to the light show in the evening, ask the locals cos they do not advertise in much, you need to get a bus north for about a 20 min ride and it will take you to the original Vegas (Frank, Dean and Sammy times)
Have a great trip. Then when you get back you'll enjoy that MH you have lined up. Safe travels. Neighbours just arrived home from Holland. Other friends come home from Vancouver and Hawaii on Saturday. Why is everyone going o/s except us?

now who has gone off topic again and we are not in I Digress, sorry Barina they have taken over your topic.
try to do the White House tour if you have time, and Birchet gardens in Vancouver is worth a visit, in NY you must see a show on broadway go to Times Square on the day you want to go to a show and you can get cheap tickets for the show you want to see for that night.
Don't think I ever mentioned the fact that Dazren was head 'Garbologist' for the city of New York, Judy. Wombat and I worked in similar roles for City of LA until we both got the sack for not doing our jobs properly.
So when in USA enjoy the clean streets as the three of us aren't there anymore.

Here's one for Dougwe

Sorry Barina, just read the rest of these postings and see that Dougwe is trying to mislead you again "" as he has not told you the ''full story''
you will find MY streets in New york are spotless, But wombat and Dougwe were so bad at the job that they are still trying to clean up thier mess
And when we three got the sack from being ''Garbologists'' we all got new jobs at a Resturant, ! I was the 'Drink waiter, and would give people Drinks,?? Dougwe was the 'Food Waiter, and he would give people Food,?? ?? and Wombat was the Head Waiter and he would give ?? -------- Hmm well lets just say ? that is why we are not in America now,????
So once again Barina enjoy your trip, and a little warning, DO NOT tell anybody in USA that you know Wombat or Dougwe ??? Or they will cancel your Visa ??

Barina your trip to U.S of A sounds absolutely wonderful, I have not been there but i have lots of friends that have been once ! and liked it so much that they have returned on numerous occassions, they say it is so big you can spend 3 lifetimes there and only scratch the surface, The trip you have described sounds terriffic, i especially like the part where you will be cruising down the coast road with ''the beachboys belting out of the stereo.Hope you are also going to be playing some of ''The Shadows'' especially ''Bombora'' now that is a good surfing tune ??
Look forward to reading any reports you send back via the forum, Have fun and stay safe,
