If you're working up there, you need to get a decent nights' sleep. Are they working up there too ? If so, surely their behaviour must be affecting how they work ? They might be asked to leave sooner than the 3 months.

Faced a minor problem last night. Quiet time is ten oclock, far enough. It is my opinion though that in all fairness and to be curtious the noise should start to lessen well before 10. The C/P I am in ATM has a number of strata titles.
Well the one opersite me cranked up the music about 9 ( about 8 people having a very happy hour) and the the volume of the voices rose to be heard over the music. I had just gone to bed and couldn't hear my tv at half volume.
Got out of bed and went for a visit. Well the lady of the house was apogetic and turned the music off (my request was to reduce volume only) but the male of the house carried on a right prick ( notice no mention of man) and assured me he would male as much noise as he like until 10. Now this group of people would be in their sixties.
This group seem to get together about 3 or 4 times a week to watch sport (football of all codes) and I have never before requested a volume reduction but after this I went to park management tonight and put in a complaint, not easy to deal with because of the strara title, takes time.
So whats the views of the forum and how do you deal with simular situations
Not quiet that easy sheba. We are in Broome and will be for another 18 months. This park has about 40% strata titles. Private owned sites or cabins. The problem is being sorted and they are quitter tonight than they have been for a long time and they are only here for about 3 months. Probable not man enough tohandle the wet season cheers blaze

With all the rain we are having in Broome yesterday, today, and probably tomorrow they may leave earlier, or float away perhaps. Just rude, that's all it is, bloody rude.
Unusual weather by all accounts!!

I agree, very rude indeed. You will find that they own the cabin or similar but not the site (land). Friends of mine stayed in a CV Park in Broome last year and similar thing happened, they just put up with it but the bloke next to them decided to approach the offenders and ended up in hospital that night with a broken nose and two cracked ribs for his trouble. the offenders ended up being charged and kicked out.
I have rubber ear plugs for any time it is noisy ( PM me and I can let you know what ones if you like ) In fact I had to use them for the first time last night here in Townsville and not because of the 'BIG' game, it's just real noisy here in my daughters free camp. Once these little beasts are in the ear's, problem solved.

Nothing worse than noisy neighbours, in a CP or even in a free camp. Some people just have no consideration for others - and possibly because they may own their unit, they think they have more rights than "campers". And I agree, if the cut off time is 10pm - the winding down should be starting about 9.30.

We endured a night from hell at a caravan park near Port Macquarie NSW some years ago. We had a camper-trailer at the time, it was threatening to rain, and we just wanted an overnight stop so booked into a cabin.
When we arrived there was loud music issuing from the caravan next door. We thought it would settle down early as they had 3 kids, of primary school age. The loud music continued ALL NIGHT and was still going next morning as we were leaving. The noise included drunken fights and screams in the early hours. We actually felt threatened to leave the cabin, and had left the phone number for the manager in the truck. Next morning another permanent resident told me the police had been called to that family on several occasions. No caravan park should allow their residents to behave so badly, but apparently they were allowed to stay because the owners were worried about those kids. Some people really shouldn't have kids!
Now, we always suss the emergency contact details and keep them with us, also, would have asked them to turn it down a lot earlier before they were so drunk and scary.
Unfortunately when it happens at a free camp the only real option is to pack up and leave, theres no manager to call. We did that once.
