The Virgin Rock Rest Area, Camps 6 - CAMP 428 is a few ks from Springsure Qld. The camp is near the road but as there's not much traffic passing at night road noise did not bother us.
The site is not very big but we did not have any trouble finding a spot for our little darling, however, bigger rigs may have a problem if they arrive too late in the day.
There are flushing toilets there, a picnic area and beautiful rocky hills overlooking the site.

We stay there two years ago it was just reopen after the big flood that year , It a nice spot with virgin rock in the background But very cold overnight ...I found Springsure to be . a nice friendly town
