Creative Caravans

Hi everyone after being away for the last few months I have decided to upgrade the van as I have been offered a good price for my coromal, as it is only 9mths old. Anyway just wondering if anyone out there have  and use a Creative Caravan and what you think either good or bad.

There are a multitude of vans out there these days, lots of them I suspect made in the same yards & re-badged by dealers.  Was a lot simpler in my buying days.

Never heard of this one though.

I had a google search & found a good, but old review on Exploroz website ...

Also noticed a small 16'6" one for resale ..  Tanami model ... $25 .. sounded like it was complete ready to go with hoses kitchen stuff hoses etc.

hope this helps ..

Morning all.

My wife and I brought the Creative Tunami  19' caravan.

We brought it from Hervey Bay Caravans and have found it to be EXCELLENT.

We had a few dramas first time round,BUT the queen size island bed,the fully functional kitchen area, and the shower/toilet section has been a godsend.

You can see all the information about all the Creative vans at creativecaravans4u.com.au and there is heaps of information.

Our has heaps of storage and hanging space, along with a very luxury L shape table area.Everything locks in place. There is area for two gas bottles. The shower operates thru on site water. The only thing that I have found is crook is that the stove (gas) has a griller and no over,BUT who really needs an over.Ours also has a built in AM/FM radio,TV on a swivel, microwave and heaps of room.It is also dual bogie

Overall for the dollars that we paid,it is well worth it.

Creative are based in Campberfield in Melbourne and most of them are built to YOUR specs,BUT the Tunami is built as to what Creative feel is the better way to go.

Yes we are very happy with ours and I can assure you that the money that we spent on it has been a godsend considering my wifes condition. The toilet cassette is easily accessible as is the shower.

Hope that this helps.

G'day Copper 1,

No worries at all on the info.

We brought a 2007 model and we were very impressed.Bepending on where you purchase the van from depends greatly on the price,BUT we paid just over $35K,BUT you get what you pay for........

We have a 21ft 6in Creative Tanami which is 3 years old and we love it. We bought ours, brand new, from a dealer in SA because it was $10,000 cheaper than all the other brands and had more in it. Only trouble we have had was a slight leak under basin in ensuite and from winder on front window. Definitely good value for money. Queen sized bed, full ensuite, BBQ, outdoor table, 2 batteries and we chose the oven and grill in case we ever sold it. At this stage haven't found one to entice us to change. We took out the L shaped diner and put in 2 chairs, more comfortable. I am sure you won't be sorry if you buy one.

Hi Gaz,

Have read with interest this thread and can't find amongst it all, if there is a problem with your Coromal that you are changing vans so soon after purchasing it. We have had a look at a Coromal 632 and are quite taken with it, but ........ if there is problems with them I feel I would like to know. However, all the best with your new Creative van - now we are free-er, we might see you on the road sometime.

Hi Pete and June, yes the Coromal are a great van and we have the 615 lifestyle or should I say had. Anyway the reason that we decided to upgrade so soon was due to a combination of things. After being on the road for 3 months and on returning home, my better half had such a good time that she also decided to retire "thus" we will be getting on the road more frequently in between doctors visits and Grandchildren biggrinbiggrin. The Coromal tho we thought was just a bit small and lacked a few bells in whistles that we wanted which you don't find out about until you are living in them for a length of time. Also being only eight months old, we got a really good trade in on the new Creative van. Now most would say that its a bit silly trading up so soon but hey we have both worked hard all our lives so that we can live this dream biggrin and most van owners have a few before they settle on the right one. Anyway if you buy a Coromal or in fact any van its about the enjoyment of each others company or if single the enjoyment of other like minded travellers and freedom of the open road so enjoy.
