On Monday Ring up the NSW RTA or whatever it's called now days. They should have a list of qualified inspectors around Australia. Two years ago I rang the RTA from WA when my rego was due.

The Queensland equivalent of the RTA will be able to point you in the right direction to a certifying station in Townsville, you will need your rego papers the same as when you go for a pink slip in NSW.
