NeilnRuth, it's nice to know I'm not alone in being contrary by heading south at this time of year. Just got back from south coast WA (Hopetoun, Albany).

Mind you, I paid for the experience. It was FREEZING, blowing a gale half the time, with torrential rain at times. I have several beanies. Did I take one? No. Ditto with thick socks. Thank God for tracksuits!

Repacking the camper, fuelling the Colorado and heading out again . . . but it's due NORTH this time!
