Update From Camps Aust Wide on the New Gateway Caravan Park In Broome - It is Pet Friendly

Just got an update on this park from CAW, apparently the symbol in the Camps book was an error and it is pet friendly;

UPDATE ON A CARAVAN PARK
BROOME - BROOME'S GATEWAY

This is a new listing in Camps 7 ( WA site 486) and it is the only "pet friendly" caravan park within a reasonable drive (28 km) from Broome.
Unfortunately there is an error on the listing in the book, and the symbol shows that pets are not allowed.

This is not correct and they certainly do welcome your pets!... so please update your information and be sure to stop in and say hello to Dave if you are needing a great place to stay near Broome.

Camps crew also said they will be away for 6 weeks up north of Oz doing a field trip...

We were there when they were first open and unfinished. It was quite an adventure, walking around in deep soft red dirt, things have changed a lot by now. But we couldn't fault the friendliness of the owners, and they had a beautiful big dog, too.

Hi Steve, the Guru title is just an automated title that appears after a member has made so many posts, there are a few other titles before that too.

I don't have a pet, but I think that is possibly the only one, I saw this on one site about another;

"Tarangau Caravan Park is a small family owned caravan park, located behind the Cable Beach Club on the corner of Millington and Lullfitz Roads. They accept dogs throughout the year except during the peak season from June to July. Phone: (08) 9193 5084."

Note they do not take dogs during the peak season though.  Hope that helps, one of the dog owners or blaze (who lives there) may be able to help.
