Managed to get a few pics today taken from above the Kerribee Park Rodeo Grounds at Mareeba .. Mareeba can be seen in some pics in the distance ..

just nice at the moment mate .. but this week end (I think) Kerribee Park is hosting a huge weekend of (2) Field Days ..
Thats why no-one is camped anywhere except down the bottom as shown.
Lots of new powered sites are now added too .. a row of 40 to the current group shown and another 40 along the western Flank ..
all good .. ( I think) ..

Its very dry actually .. I remember from last year though how a 30 minute downpour can leave it looking like a lake.
.. but the runoff prevents it from hanging around too long .. the area does need a gentle soak .. sprinklers are currently being used ..

Really enjoy it up that way,we have family who live around that area so up there a fair bit.
