You will probably find after sleeping on the mattress for a few nights straight, you will be off buying one of those egg carton foam overlay thingo's ,so your queen sheets may fit a little better. What we do is never buy a pair of sheets the same size, We buy 1 fitted queen and flat double for the top...Hard enough making a bed in any Rv ,so you wont want to be having to lift the mattress up every morning to tuck the bottom sheet in,useing the queen sheet makes the sheet fit under the mattress better.

Our caravan has a queen size bed, the one with the corners cut off at the bottom. I bought queen size sheets but they are way too big. I should have realised the mattress isn't as thick as the one we have now so of course it's not going to fit
So what size sheets do you use on your queen size mattress?
Do you use those sheet clips on the corners to keep it on?
Our last caravan Les removed the old crap bed, and he made a queen size bed, so we had an actual queen size mattress on it, which was heaven. This we can't do now.
Do you have a sewing machine Grams? Its fairly easy to alter the sheets to fit, Or you just tuck them in further. You will find DB sheets too small even for a QS with rounded corners..
Grams, as Gerty says, use a sewing machine and sew the corners further in. That is, find the corners, and follow the line of the stitching that makes the corner but stitch at least an inch(2.5cm) further in. Try this on 2 corners and check the fit before doing it on the other end corners.
Thank you, I didn't think of adjusting it...ok my brain is in gear again lol
I want to get one of those egg shell overlay so once I do I'll make it a custom fit for the bed. I'll have to do this to the other sheets I bought.
Baz that's not such a bad idea at all, both Les and I are restless sleepers, and the sheets are always sliding off, even though they are fitted. So I might try your idea. Thanks
