I just noticed that the site is rapidly coming up to the 200,000th post.  Quite an achievement for us old greying folks.  Well done particularly to Cindy.

200000! That's a lot of posts and a lot of posters....by any measure.

This is an exceptional forum in lots of ways IMHO, not least of which is the civility and inclusivity of the information/conversation. It positively reflects on those that contribute and, perhaps even moreso, on those that manage it.

So......may there be MANY more posts and posters biggrin

(and many more stated appreciations re management.........thank you Cindy, you're doing a great job here)

I will also add my congratulations to the list. Cindy you are to be congratulated on a very well done job which I suspect is a labour of love anyway. It was the support that Cheryl and I got from the members of this site around 5 years ago that pointed us to the info we needed to start our journey when we were looking for answers to our dream. I see that same encouragement almost every time I log on and it is in no small way that Cindy runs this web site. Once again Cindy, well done and enjoy the comments freely given.

Hi liddle,
The 200,012 refers to the total number of posts across all sections of our forum.  The 131983 refers to the number of post that have been made in the 'General Forum' only.  If you click on another section, like the 'I digress...' that number will be 12285 or there abouts.  Hope that clears it up.

Under the heading Forum Statistics it shows Total Posts 20012

But under the heading below Forum Information" : it shows Total Posts 131983

Could someone please explain what the different figures mean.
