Great photo, courtesy of NASA.

Thought this image from NASA was worth sharing.

Beautifully lit clouds, moon, Venus, birds and of course an azure sky.

Cant believe that after over 100 views there are only two people who have chosen to comment, thanks people.

It's a remarkable shot in a number of ways, nicely composed, technically its very good, unusual in the fact that we see beautifully lit clouds, birds, the moon, Venus and an azure sky.

Guess there is no accounting for taste.smile

Pretty stunning shot, good photography too - I wonder what NASA are doing taking earth bound photos - they usually have space shots from things like the Hubble. No matter, still something to enjoy.

Regards

Dave

Morning Dave, NASA frequently put terrestrial based shots up on their site http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html they add a new pic daily, excellent photography.

Santa I'm often amazed at the proportion of views to the number who post comments. It's all the silent 'watchers' of the forum perhaps. NASA folk must get to see some spectacular scenes.

I, like a lot of people, love to read everything but post very rarely. I often wish there was a "like" or "agree" button so I could input without actually typing.

By the way, it is a stunning photo. Thanks for sharing.
