Question marks

Is anyone else having the same peculiar problem? I just opened justcruising's post and it had a long line of little red boxes with a question mark in them. Other times it has been black boxes with a ? mark. They are often dispersed throughout the post. The second time I opened JC's post they were gone.

Last night when I was posting photos in the photo comp I found the 'attach file' button just shrank down to a tiny little box with no words - but if I clicked on it, it would still down load the photos. Are the gremlins here again?

If that's the worst thing that happens in life, we have no problems at all. I just put up with most things anyway. This forum is the best at all times and I tell you that for free.

Happy forumiting all, mmmm, is that a word? Who cares, it will do.

Yes I have seen the question marks in little black boxes dispersed through an occasional post, not to worry, it will eventually go away.

Have not had spell check for months & still dont, also have not been able to copy & paste ever since the last time the site had probs. Can do it within the pc & to external storage with no probs.

We have two laptops, running vista & 7 & both react the same way, can hilight, copy, go to new topic, r/click & of the choices there is no paste.

Maybe the glue pot is empty. LOL.

It should underline misspelt words (like 'hidding') in red and you right click on it and choose the correct spelling. It has underlined the word 'hidding' when I typed it in this post.

Morning Jon, the word hidding is showing underlined in red for me in your above quote, right click on it and it gives me the correct spelling. hiding.

Sorry herbie for not getting back to you but I think others have answered the question. If you spell something wrong it should underline it with red 'in situ' - where the word is. I don't think I did anything different to my computer. As others said, it just started to happen. And no, I can't find anything on the page which says I have spellcheck on my posting.

I've just checked my settings and it has nothing to 'tick' for spellchecking.
