Have just spent 3 days in free camp at Swan Reach SA, Camp6 No 222, excelent free camp site but was told by the lady that comes around and tidys things daily that the council is looking to close it down under pressure from the Caravan Park operator. Even if you have never been here please contemplate shooting off an email to the council in protest. Who knows we just might be able to save one. For pics of the site please see my blog listed below. Walking distance to ferry for a trip over the river to an excelent pub for a meal and a beer, good takeaway and general store. Please help and send off an email.
