I HAVE RETURNED

Yep, you can't get rid of me that easy, sorry. Actually I have made a few small contributions to this great forum and secretly been snooping around anyway, well someone has to keep an eye on certain members, not to mention any names though as I am not like that am I Dazren. smile

I am still at home in Sth West Gippsland Vic, regrouping my thoughts and thinking what to do next. The playground is out there and awaits my return.

I have a few phone calls to catch up on and one is Telstra this morning to see what they can do for me to help out in that department. I also want to have a chat to Centerlink, mmm, do I really, silly me.

I am even considering heading back up to Townsville as I have spoken to a few people up there and the weather/temp is on the improve and I really need cuddles from my grand children up there.

I have also done a lot of thinking of maybe even doing some House Sitting. That could be a win win situation, people get their house and property looked after and I get to be in different parts of the playground. I have my working with children licence and even my bus licence has police checks done which is like a up to date police check as you have to get an in depth police check done to have those anyway, so see that says I am a good boy as I keep trying to tell Dazren.

Enough dribble for now so,

Good onya Doug. you could look here...

http://www.housecarers.com/

Good luck with this, you'll find most people want their beloved kitty-cats and pooches spoilt in the manner to which they are accustomed while the their owners are away.

Great to see you are getting your mojo back Dougwe. Good idea to head back up this way, the weather is beautiful as in not stinking hot but very manageable.
Get back out in that big playground.

Doug, I guess Qld weather is improving & down south will be heading towards cold very soon. Re house sitting - We do it now & then & if you want to know of a very good site on the web to register in (house sitters pay an annual charge but this is one with the smallest charge) & this site works very well, PM me. We have been registered there for about 10 years. Regards Alice

Will do Jules just not sure about the Billeeeee hug though.

Where are you at now, I think I will leave in a couple of weeks and head up the way I came down, up via, Tocumwal, Dubbo, Inverell, Surat, Emerald, Townsville. I found that easy coming down.

Inverell is to pay a visit to a famous GN.

At this stage Ken I will not be going near Echuca. Still making my mind up as to how I go but more than likely through Shepparton and up that way unless I decide to clear out earlier and then maybe up to Echuca then across to Tocumwal from there.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions, hey. The joys of being retired.

Might even head up the Hume and across to Wagga Wagga and then across to the Newell, you never know where I will pop up.

I will make contact for sure though if I am in your area.

I do that, BG.

You just never know where I will pop up and I tell you that for free.

I have sent an email to the famous person but have had no reply so she/he might not want me to visit. I might have to just forget Inverell all together now and maybe go the coast road where I have true friends. biggrin
