We have moved from our camp site at the bottom of the Lobethal football oval in the trees due to a bush fire that is out of control sort of headed our way they are having major hassles in trying to put it out. One home has been lost today and they just evacuated a primary school. We are now on the top side of the oval and in the clear. Wind is tending to take it away from us but you never know. We are all ok where we are .

On the weather report here in central qld , they said Adelaid had a top temp of 31c monday, was wondering if that did really happen, as over that way this time of year it starts to cool down some what. Hope the fires are under control.
The temp' s around heare near Adelaide have been quite a deal higher than they should be. Around 30 early in the week. The forecast looks like rain for most of next week so that should go well for the fires to be under control. The locals are saying that it has not been this hot for this time of the year for a long long time.

The weather in S.A. is very unusual for this time of the year as it is usually cooling down sorry to hear that you have had to move on as Lobethal is a lovely little spot just so glad that you were not involved with the terrible fire that is burning that way at the moment feel so sorry for the people that have lost their home and the others that are in danger of losing theirs what hero's the firies are as we heard on the T.V,. tonight that they have had to crawl up the terrain at times to try to put the fire out. Hope the rain comes on Sunday. We have never known it to be as hot as this all the time we have lived in S.A. not at this time of the year. Helena.
We are hearing of these controlled burn off's , more and more where they get out of control.Just makes one wonder who makes the call on these kind of burn off's.
