Looks good Jim. A few minutes ago I was typing my last year's diary into the computer (I write it by hand each year & once on the computer I chuck the book away). Anyway I was just typing in entry for 3rd July & first bit reads - Jim & Leoni arrived - at Toomulla Beach. Regards Alice

You guys obviously don't read much on here. In the get togethers is a couple of threads re a get together at Dickabram Bridge at Miva just north of Gympie. Every one was invited.

And people wonder why I'm always saying "Read more Threads" Marj.  They miss so much.

I never read the get togethers thread, as I can't join in, so I just never go there.

Like Grams, we are unable to join get togethers, it doesn't mean I can't wish and dream, Because of being unable to use my computer for a while it was taking me a little while to catch up with everything on the Forum....I do apologise for not being more alert and many apologies to all the delicate people I offended by not being continually up to date with every facet of the forum  regards   Capricorn

Thanks for the photo's Jim

As for the people that wanted to come around to Miva and could not make it
you missed out of a wonderful weekend with very good weather

I can honestly say that we made some good friends, thank you for letting us share your weekend

You haven't offended anyone Capricorn.
Many fellow nomads are unable to get out to the get togethers as in camping.
What we have found, especially at Greens Lake, we had a lot of day visitors off the forum. They are not out camping yet but loved the chance to catch up with some who are and enjoyed getting all the info on what they are doing out there.

G'day Ian

last time I was there i did some fishing from the bridge
my feelings are that the river it self is around 3 meter ( 10 feet ) deep
I hope this will help you

Give us a call when you go there ,it's a magic place

I am one of those, who at the moment is just looking through the window and wishing.  But it doesn't stop me asking questions and driving to where I can to meet people ( so far just Greens lake). I think I have made some new friends anfd met a few great members and learned heaps and heard about so many new and wonderful places, heaps of pics, followed lots of journeys all in readiness for me.

Wish we had had time to stop. We just got back from a 6 day trip to Yeppoon and back to Caboolture. We passed you but couldn't stop! We had a deadlien or two - a family wedding and birthday needed celebrating. Sure enjoyed our trip in the Shuttlebug though and I think the travel bug has bitten us kinda hard. smile
