Another Croc attack in N.W. QLD


Unfortunately it looks like a fisherman has been taken at Weipa.  Article from the Courier Mail.

Sometimes fishermen are their own worst enemy. For several years a large croc had been in residence at our local boat ramp.
It had a constant supply of food as fish frames were continually dumped right at the ramp. DERM trapped him [ or her ] 4.3 meters long and shifted it to the croc farm. A croc warning sign has been there for ages.
Last Monday I put the boat in and here's a shark about 2 foot long in a plastic bag dumped right at the croc sign.
It's just not worth the risk to go anywhere near the water here.
