Hello to all you lucky people, let me congratulate you on this forum and the support you give each other. Hazel and I are now ready ( almost) to join you.
Over the next little while we will be asking lots of questions and seeking advice, if we get on your nerves or get the etiquette wrong please let us know.
We have been out and about a little already, talking to a few of you, and thanks to those we have met. This will be a total and permanent lifestyle change for Hazel and I.
We are in our mid to late fifty's and in the process of selling up, to be on the road in feb 2014, (eight months three weeks and five days away) as with most money will be tight but we hope to have enough to purchase a motorhome in reasonable condition about 10 years old. The question is do we need a little tow behind vehicle? If we do it will have to come out of the motorhome budget.
Our intention is mostly to camp, very few caravan parks, we don't do crowds anymore.
Some people we have spoken to have said they would not be without it, I just don't want to pull something around that I use once a month. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks again,

I have been on the road for five years and I tow a trailer (shed), better for me as I am content to sit and watch nature. Finished watching Humans.
Depends on your interests as many like to head off each day to sight see where others are content to sit and watch the world go by and relax. Regards Brian
