Where's Happy Wanderer and Wombat?

Yep Womby is away for a couple of weeks, and Happy Wanderer is at a GN gathering at Wuruma Dam in Qld, where there is no phone or internet - Sheba put a post on about it yesterday. Looks a good spot. And HW looks totally relaxed!!!!!!  Sorrry this is so big, copied from Shebas post in Get Togethers!!!!!

I notice HW and Wombat haven't been on for a while. Maybe they have both fallen in a wombat hole. Hope they are OK.

Was just thinking where Marj was as I read this post..............Womby is out of range of the net for a few weeks, he posted they were house sitting in the bush I seem to recall.

Happy Wanderer will be at Wuruma Dam till Wednesday/Thursday.  There had been 10 GN's there when I left on Saturday, and I think some more were still on the way.   It's a lovely peaceful place.  Some of the people who were there, [not our mob] looked as thought they had been there for months.

Here's another Pic.  That's Paul [my van] sitting in front of his rig, with his Kayak at the waters edge.

Cheers,

Someone was swimming? Horses for courses, I would have thought it too chilly.

Looks lovely though. I'll get there some day.

It was quite warm most of the time I was there Beth.  Got a little cool in the last couple of mornings.  At least 3 people swam every day.  Mostly  it was around 30 during the day.

I'm sure you'd love it.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Where are you now Michael ?  Did take a Pic. of your set-up, but it's too blurry to post .  Hand was shaking too much.

Cheers,

Sheba.

Are wombats usually that quiet? Seems there are two opinions as to where he is.

Looks like the Qld gathering had a great place. Glad HW was looking so relaxed.

What lovely photos by Jules and Sheba. Thank you. Postcard photos are always nice, but give me the informal, unposed 'here we are' photos any day.

Different Wombat BG - our "regular" wombat is from WA - the one at Greens comes from a place called Wombat!  Nice guy - did he show you the chairs he resurrected fromt he skip bin after Easter?   Think he pulled about seven of them out, few minor adjustments and all good again!!!  Amazing what people throw away - couple of the chairs were quite expensive ones as well.
