Any good home made recipes to remove Bugs and Tar,its as dear as poison to buy. Thanks

not sure about the tar, but carb soda mixed to about the consistency of  custard is good for bugs and won,t harm the paintwork.

That WD40 or RP 7 works well not much difference to kero but easy to apply. I squirt it onto a cloth so I can control the area under cleaning

You can buy a 350gm pressure pack of 5star bug and tar remover from most $2 stores or Big W for less than $4. It will last a long time.

50/50 kero and liquid detergent,,, sponge on,, then wipe off with clean water/rag.

This has been mentioned before and if tar is ingrained on the front vinyl, NOTHING will remove it.

I now use a vinyl protector on the new van and this has worked ok so far.

If you want to remove TAR from vinyl I have done this several times ,I used petrol on a rag took it of easy then wash with detergent and water came up like new,only use Caltex petrol (only joking ).

If you smoke enough you can sit back and try to count the bug and tar spots as a form of relaxation
