Well we have stopped off for a break and lunch at Meningie. What a lovely little town. They are doing their best to restore it in places and doing a great Job. By the look of the number of vans and motorhomes around the word is out there. Worth a look if you are in the area.

Good free camping just north of the town & turn right, follow the lakeside with many areas.

Thanks Jim, we are camped at the Narrung Jetty Reserve, #44, camps book 6. We will look around here then go across on the ferry and up into Tallem Bend and then onto Victor Harbor before moving onto Rapid Bay. Its a bit breezy but that alright. There are 3 other campers here as well.. Trust all well with you both.

If you have time try for the Yorke Peninsula and also the Eyre Peninsula really lovely places there so many little towns with so much history with them. Hope you enjoy your time here in S.A. Rapid Bay is our old fishing ground. Helena.

Thanks Helena for that info. We are in SA for at least to late Oct and intending to travel to as much as SA as possible. The good thing about SA is that it's a lot closer than where we were last year, Qld where everything is so far apart. Really looking forward to visiting these little towns, etc.
