getting 100's of these emails every 30 mins or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not getting them barina. I'm presuming you mean in your email account. I would say you may have opened one at the beginning. I was told if you open a spam they know they have found a receiver or someone to con, then will send you more.
If you delete without opening they don't get to know theres someone at the other end.

they were in my email when I opened through bigpond webmail at work and all day they came.  I never opened any just kept deleting them but was damn painfull through webmail. Now at home through Outlook they are coming every 30 mins or so but much easier to delete...abou 200 at a time!!!!!

No nothing here either. Do a virus scan, as that is what is wrong. I've had some virus's that I ended up having to take my PC in to get wiped clean every couple of months. I got so jacked off with it, I got rid of the PC and got an Apple Mac, I've had it 6 years and never had a problem with it.

I hope you get it fixed, what a pain.

Mailwasher is a good program for checking emails before they go into Outlook. Can delete, bounce & blacklist anything you dont like the look of.

Thanks all it has stopped now and hopefully not again. I do clear temp files and cleanup from time to time but will do more often now.

One good thing about changing to  Mac .... Never had any spam, virus or junk emails. I was told not to install any anti virus software as it was not necessary and it has proven correct. Never regretted moving from windows  four years ago - just wish there was a Mac version of Nomad Notes

 Not wanting to burst your bubble chaslib, but just do a google on apple mac viruses and see what you come up with. eg. Apple drops claim
