Girgaree

After leaving Greens lake, a long trip to Girgarre....we had some followers in Kaye,Richard,Julie.Adrian,Pat and Mike.

We set up camp in the reserve opposite the hall as the markets were on Sunday.

What a lovely welcoming town!!!!!

We went to the football club after the footy on saturday (Girgarre lost) but still had a great night with them all ,beer and pizzas,We were welcomed by the club president and had many people come and chat with us thru-out the night,

At the park there is a dump point and water, we would recommend this place for a stop-over and sightsee around the area,

The Girgarre markets are held on the second sunday every month and well worth attending.

Make sure that when you do you pop into the hall say hello to Kerryn at the busy beads table!!!!!

Reg and Lynn

I've stayed at Girgarre. Didn't realise it was such a busy town. Have enjoyed their markets though, lots of interesting products to buy there.
