Green Lake here I come.

Leaving Melbourne tomorrow (Monday) and heading off to this ideal lake I've read so much about in this Forum.  I've never met anyone from the Forum so if there are any members there, please come and say hello. There is always a cold bottle of white in the fridge !! You will know me by the MH I drive, an Iveco. I'll put a photo below, and there is a Grey Nomad sticker on the rear window. Hope to spend a few days there, then will check out Aysens Reserve nearby. Hope to meet up with whoever might be around the same area at the same time...

 Hi Bog Gorilla.

I'm still here, plus Wombat and Terry. I stayed longer than intended, but I enjoy it here. Not for much longer, though, as autumn colds will soon come. Time comes to finally move to warmer pastures... You'll recognise my tipi-type greeen piramid tent and a car, small silver Hnda CRV 1999 with South Australian plates - as seen in my avatar. In new place, though, under trees since some time. You are sure welcome Big Gorilla. Come and enjoy. We are sure all very hospitable nomadic lot. Can find something to warm up, too:)

Ziggy.

Not sure if anyone is still at Greens Lake, hopefully there could be one or two there. No worries, they will find you if you are there Big-Gorilla.

I'll check out the location of Girgarre on my trusty TomTom and if at all possible will call in...I have no fixed agenda.. I'm sorry I can't drop off the cold white but quite happy to share as long as I get some !!!

Girgarre is nearby Greens - toilets, showers, water and a dump point.

Heading off this morning with a quick stop at Dandenong then the open road.. Thanks for all the info Guys. Checked out Girgarre. Will probable come in from Melbourne to either  Elmore or Corop, but I notice  all the camps are close by. Probably stay with my original intention and hit Green Lake first for a few days then move on to Aysens and Girgarre. Hope the Telstra signal is good for my trusty laptop and modem, but obviously it is ok as those of you on site at these camps wouldn't be able to post.

At Greens, best reception is up away form the lake shore - closer to the toilet block, I found. Enjoy the peace and serenity!!
