Might go back and get our folding solar panels there,
and also our reversing cameras.
Lots of lovely thing in there.
Popped next door int Supercheap Auto and fell in love
with a folding bike for $179.00.
Ah well Mother's Day is coming up

Not a bad price for a folding bike - we paid $150 on line - bike shops didn't have anything under $600!!! I have a fold up bike, not for the folding up, but I am a bit vertically challenged, and find it so much easier to get on and off, I am not a confident rider, never rode as a kid.

Jaycar's reversing camera kits are OK.

I have two of them.

The first is on my tow car, a Kia Cerato - Jaycar - QM3795 - wireless camera is fitted just above the rear numberplate on the hatch, and is wired into the reversing light circuit - the monitor clips over the rearview mirror and is wired into the map lights circuit above the mirror. I manually turn the monitor on and off when I want to reverse - it is great to be able to back right up centred (it has guide lines in the monitor) on the camper hitch within about 300mm or so, then the Managing Director tells me when I'm right over the ball. Also very useful in tight parking spots when I'm not towing.

The second is on my camper, an Avan Aliner - QM3806 - wireless camera is mounted on a vertical tubular metal strut just above the rear mounted spare wheel, and is wired into the numberplate light circuit - the small colour monitor hangs off a windscreen suction-cap mount in the middle of the dash area, and plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. I only fit this monitor when I'm towing the Aliner. I can use it two ways - only running occasional spot checks for seeing what is behind the van, or I can leave it running constantly when I drive (normally I do this) - I turn the camera on or off by turning the parking lights on - the circuit is broken when I unplug the Aliner, so I can't leave the camera on accidentally. The good thing about leaving the Aliner camera on, is I can see someone coming up to pass me in the lanes to my left or right, especially those cheeky buggers who scream up on my left. Although I have the camera system, I always use extended towing mirrors mounted to my side mirrors on the car.

I went the 'wireless route' as it was too hard to find places in the car and camper to run dedicated wiring, as well as the problems of making a plug/socket connection at the hitch. Although both systems run at 2.4Gh, they don't conflict with each other, as I'm only using one OR the other system; I don't run both simultaneously, I only switch on the system I want to use at the time.
