Just thought I would let you all know that I bought a new cranking battery recently for 'The Cave' (my Hino motorhome) and found that Auto Pro at Tuncurry, NSW has very competitively priced bats - I paid just $165 for my new cranking battery (N70) compared to $279 for my previous purchase. They seem to be out doing all the other auto places in all products. I'm not sure where else they can be found, but if around where you are check them out.
Hi Gary, it surprised me too, by the way I forgot to mention that it was a Century Battery, same as the other one I bought 6 months ago. I'll be going there again when the house batteries need replacement.
I bought a Bosch equivalent to N70ZZ starter battery a few months ago after much research - for $173. I was a bit worried at this "low" price that I may be being quoted for an imitation.
I discoverred that there is now a "margin" on batteries that allows this discount, so jumped at it. Saved heaps here in Adelaide as others stuck to list or RRP.
