It's time again to replace tyres. I have been told goodrich ATKO are the way to go but they look fairly chunky to me and I am concerned about road noise. Almost all our driving is on good roads. Does anyone have any comment on these or other tyres. They are about $400 each.
We had those on the Prado Terry, good off-road tyres. D was pleased with them, but when they reached 7 years old he disposed of them. Because they were a tiny bit bigger than the standard issue Toyota tyres they altered the speedo readings... it showed 95 when travelling at 100kph. We have highway tyres on now, as he wasn't planning on doing so much off-road/dirt road travel.
