When I bought my Nokia 920 smartphone I went in search of a quality in car holder. Suction cup windscreen mounts just fall off in the hot Aussie sun. I found a company,  www.brodit.com  , that manufacture custom clips made for individual cars that fit the dashboard easily. they even make mounts for iPads.

The Australian dealer wanted $174 plus postage, way out of my price range. Imagine my surprise when a company in the UK,  www.clove.co.uk , had the same thing for $73 including postage.

Only took five minutes to install and works brilliantly. No wonder Aussie retailers are whingeing, but their profit margin on imported goods is too high....
