Protecting caravan tyres from the sun while van not in use

We have decided not to get a cover for our van but we would like to be able to protect the tyres of the van from the sun while it is not inuse.  Any ideas ?

Welcome Nisey,

At home I have one of the reflective folding car sun shades cut in half, put one over each wheel and lean a piece of wood against it to stop it from blowing off, alternatively, put a long ocky strap over the back of the tyre and hook together over the shade on the outside, or use a piece of cord and tie at the front....

This is what I have done with mine, 99 percent shade cloth,a brick on each wheel at the top, pegged the shade cloth both ends to the ground,

Fortunately, we don't have to worry about the sun on our tyres in Tasmania.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

We do have a cover over the van and wheels to keep the rain and snow off.confuse

I cut out 2 pieces of marine ply to slide
up inside each wheel well make sure they
are high enough and at least the same length
as the tyres and they won't slip out
