Wow Sylva you are doing all that in 3 months....OMG! I have allocated 2 years to do mine, and I am still not sure I will do it all. I wish you all the best, and happy traveling in the playground.

No Grams, they leave in 3 months, they'll have nearly 6 months travelling if they are back for Christmas.

no I meant 3 months to sort out all her personal items, get everything organised, including finding a home for their pet, and moving the parents into a smaller home...not the actual traveling.

In exactly three months to the day we will be leaving our old life behind and starting on the next chapter in our life!!!

Right now we are five weeks away from taking delivery of our new Royal Flair Van and Holden Colorado, then the last 10 weeks of work for me (pete finishes on the 23rd april!!) and all that needs to be done in between, including packing my life belongs away (that is what im going to keep) setup the holiday house to be left for at least six months, rehouse our beloved dog (the one thing im trying not to think about cry, move mum and dad into their new downsized home. im going to need a holiday getting ready for our holiday......lol

the plan is to head north then turn left coming down the WA coast to be back in Victoria for Christmas, then who knows, i have decided not to work for this time frame but then look for work as we travel after this (im only 37 so a little young to not work again, although my partner is turning 60 next week thus the desire to travel now). anyone with tips on working on the move would be great, am happy to stay put for periods of time if work is found.

any other advise for this last runup to the final 3 months would be great

looking forward to seeing some of you out in this great big land of our

Sylva

happy and safe travels Sylvia. We decided it was time to "do it" after a couple of health scares and hit the road Nov 2011. We said 'no work' for a year but found a great short term job (6 weeks) in QLD in Oct 2012 and now have a 2 mth job in WA with the possibility of coming back here for another 2 months in Sept. 4 mths a year is perfect for us especially as our keep is included. Found the jobs on 'Gumtree Jobs'.
