towing vehicle please help

Hi everyone,

We have a suncoast caravan 20'6 with a tare weight of 2160 and ball weight of 220 we are considering Toyota Prado 3 door which has a 3 ton tow

or Mazda BT50 we like the Landcruisers but they are so expensive our budget would be around 40k - 50k - is anyone towing with a 3 door Prado ??

Or are there any other suggestions ?

regards Ed and Fran   no

I have found it's not what it will tow but the length of the tug . I have seen the smaller puddle jumpers get into all types of strife the bigger the foot print on the road the more stable they seem to be and handle better. just my point of view not sure about the science

Thanks Wombat 280 for your reply I know what your saying.

Due to my husbands recent illness I am trying to sort this out. I am not so keen on used car salesmen and seem to be going

around in circles about what car to buy.  Anyway thanks for your thoughts.

Fran
