We had an Anderson plug and a Reversing Camera cable installed in our car, the ones on the caravan have covers, but the ones that were installed on our Prado don't have covers on, so what can we use to cover them? Is there a cover you can buy for them?

Purchased Anderson Plug covers for the Caravan and Cruiser, from memory around $10 each and now do not use them. the cover on the caravan plug got some water inside and within a short time, electroylsis had set in, ( the Anderson pins have 12+ and 12-) I do not need this. The covers ( look great) are still connected to the cables by the rubber loop but now never put over the plugs.
I just need a cover the cable sticking out the back of the car for the reversing camera? Does anyone know what it is called? Or where I can get one from?
I have never covered my Anderson plug at the rear of the tow vehicle but I have always just covered the contacts. The other day I was in Jaycar and there for sale was a over that slides over the open end of the Anderson plug. No more plastic bags from now on. They do a god job at a good price.

I think we will need a photo to answer that one....

To cover my plugs i just brought the black rubber stopper that goes on the end of a walking stick , nice and tight fit and extra tough bubber. Never had a problem used the same one now for over 5 years.
I bought one similar to this off ebay for $7.90, with free postage. Bargain! I bought mine after a mishap with my plug. I suspect there was a little grit or similar in there that I didn't see, therefore the plug wasn't in far enough. Along the way the lead fell out and had dragged along the ground for who knows how long. Had to be replaced, luckily by a helpful fellow GN at very little cost. But it was a damned nuisance.
So now I don't have to worry about any little 'bits' being caught in there.
If you are looking for covers for the wire end try typing this into ebay
" 50Amp Anderson type plug Dust/Cable entry cover, Solar" They are $5 each with $2 postage but he does combined postage and I bought 10 sets and he charged the $2 postage for the lot.

Thank you for all the replies. I contacted the caravan place we bought the van from, and they had a box of stuff that wasn't put in the van before we collected it so they posted it to us. Inside was the plug cover for the camera wire, plus the instructions for the reversing camera and the bag to protect it...good job I asked them.
