I think we all use Badgers at different times to review a caravan park , but use it with an open mind. As i do think the owners put a lot of untrue coments on it,as we have found out over time. Another thing is some of the reviews are old and not up to date, The park might have been ok back when ever, but that can change very quick with change of ownership or management. The sames also works in reverse. If we look and see  bad reviews out way one good one we kind of give that park a wide berth.

Gday...

I use Badger's site regularly (when, in those moments of weakness I want a van park ) - however, Badger is not omnipresent - he relies on people like us.

The reports are lodged by those who visit the van parks and submit a report to the site. It is incredibly easy to provide a feedback/report on a park - I have done it many times.

So if the reports are "old and not up to date", perhaps if one visits a park that needs a current report one could provide it for the service of other travellers - and to help Badger keep his excellent site up to date. He'll love ya for it.

cheers - John

I have left the odd report on Badgers, and if you care to look there is a section where caravan Park owners/ managers can leave their parks report.

Johns,

We used it a few years ago. We got it at a special price and so that made it value for money. It was rather tired, but there were hot showers etc. It certainly needed some TLC but the six of us who spent the weekend there enjoyed it as it was rather like bush camping in so much as we had no neighbours nearby. The report on Badgers was written by me in 2010. What it is like now I do not know. Two couples also had small dogs and these were allowed which suited us.

I grew up in the general area, Myponga, and I love going back.

Cheers,
Di
